About this bottle

This release marks the inaugural expression in the Grain to Glass Specialty Barrel Series, which features three distinct whiskeys. Similar to prior GtG Rye releases, this whiskey is crafted using a unique corn seed variety (Beck's 6225 for this batch) from Beck's Hybrids and has a mash bill comprising 63% rye, 24% corn, and 13% malted barley. It is aged for six years, with the rye fully maturing in Chinquapin oak, a specific type of American white oak native to Central and Eastern North America, instead of standard char #3 American white oak. The label indicates the precise corn varietal, distillation year, and release year. Bottled at 107 proof and without chill-filtration, it will be available nationwide in limited quantities starting November 2025, with a suggested retail price of $129.99 for a 700ml bottle.
