Ryan Bravo 2.5

This is not the main release, but a rare bottling from the society: Hazelburn 11-year-old society release 2019, 54.2% ABV, opened on World Whiskey Day (May 16) 2020. Poured into a Glencairn glass. Color: light golden yellow with an almost greenish tint. Nose: pepper, sweetness, hay or moss. Adding water brings out herbal/grassy notes. Palate: very distinct mineral and medicinal notes, with a chili burn on the tongue due to the high alcohol content, though water moderates it slightly. Finish: medicinal with tree bark notes, not very long. A decent dram and a rare bottle, but not my favorite. Scored 2.5/5.
