About this bottle
Green Spot 100 Year Anniversary Limited Edition 10 Year was launched in 2025 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Green Spot, which was first offered in 1925 by Dublin wine merchant Mitchell & Son. Midleton Distillery produced this triple-distilled single pot still Irish whiskey. Its mash bill includes malted and unmalted barley, and it was aged in both ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks. The whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV and brings back the original 10 year age statement from early Green Spot bottlings. The name "Green Spot" referred to the green paint mark used on 10 year casks in Mitchell & Son’s bonded warehouses. YesColours collaborated on the commemorative packaging for this limited release.
