The best qualities of both bourbon and rum are wonderfully combined in one barrel. This is a remarkable drink. It's hard to come by barrel strength single barrel rums, and this one is available at a very fair price.

Mediocre on its own. Much improved when mixed with Diet Coke. When tasted alongside a Dominican and Colombian rum in a sampler pack, it was my least favorite. Spicy, oaky taste.
A store pick single barrel, aged for eight years. I typically stick to bourbon, and this comes quite close. Features a prominent vanilla taste. I regret not purchasing more when the shop had it available.
High ethanol on the nose leads to a pleasingly rich flavor. Especially impressive with no added color or sugar. Good rum.
A rather typical, unremarkable rum that I wouldn't mind drinking but likely wouldn't seek out.
Oaky, spirited, earthy, with a hint of molasses and a semi-sweet character. An excellent spirit for sipping, it pairs well with a mild-bodied cigar.
