86 Nose: chocolate and barrel, cherries, lightly vanilla 22 Palate: chocolate, cookies, vanilla, gentle barrel, softer notes, slightly sharp alcohol 21 Finish: medium, chocolatey-cookie, oaky, warming 21 Overall: subtle flavors with slightly elevated alcohol, nicely cookie-chocolate with a bit of vanilla 22
I enjoyed it! It has a bit of peat, but not a lot. It really does taste like a single malt Scotch.
I was impressed by how smooth this Czech whisky is and its resemblance to a fine scotch.
Same style and price bracket, best rated first.
