It begins with notes of chestnuts, Campino sweet, a slightly syrupy texture, and a hint of menthol; while a dry progression introduces notes of sweet malt and soft wood spice; leading to a delicate and clean conclusion with notes of nutty oak. Experienced at Dramfest '18, this was an outstanding dram, possibly the best of the nearly 40 tasted that day. It cost $115 USD and received a 4.5 rating, rounded up to 5. With only 508 bottles produced, it's advisable to purchase quickly. Subsequent tasting confirmed its quality, though perhaps a 4.25 rating is more accurate.
