Glenrothes 20 Year Old 1996 (Cask 13093) Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)

Nose: Fruit from the orchard (apples and pears), baking spices Palate: Citrus, orange, herbaceous, peppery, vanilla Finish: Lingering. Peppery, chili, pimento (baking spices), oak, almond/walnut. Smooth finish 1 of 180 bottles This is a delightful, peppery, and herbaceous pour. It does not possess the typical strong sherry influence of the regular 12-year-old, but it is wonderful and remarkably smooth.
