I tried this single malt scotch straight at 40% ABV in the evening. It is from batch number 9378/013 and contains artificial color. Thick legs on the glass and a deep mahogany color. Bright peaches on the nose with a warm spicy oak character. A little citrus fruit as well. Dried fruit and maple syrup on the palate with a mild ethanol bite. There's some brown sugar in baked apple crisp in there too. Later, some banana and roasted pecans emerge. It has a long finish emphasizing the wood and spice with a moderate sweetness. Superb malt that I can only imagine would be incredible at just a slightly higher proof.

Day 4 of the advent calendar. Tried neat. The aroma is rich and fruity, with notes of dates, apricot, pear, candied roasted pecans, and a hint of leather. Most notably... I get peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice creamπ€€ On the palate, I taste a lot of stone fruits with notes of cinnamon, clove, & brown sugar.
A bit fruity, with a hint of vanilla and spice in the finish.
