This Glenlivet single cask offering is definitely a tale of two parts. The Torrain is clearly superior; this one doesn't quite reach those heights but remains a respectable, albeit pricey, pour. While the Perth and Tom An Uird made little impact, the Torrain and this dram were an improvement. The finish on the first two was weak, the Torrain's was quite long and intense... this one is potent but unrefined. Adding water smoothed it out, but I overdid it, so it certainly requires a very careful hand with the water.
