I absolutely adore this whisky. From the first taste, I knew this would be a long-term favorite. It's so smooth and delicious on the palate that you could drink it like water. It was matured for 13 years in European Oloroso sherry seasoned butts. Bottled at 40% ABV, it has a red color, resembling strawberry jam. Nose: Packed with maraschino cherries. Also notes of bacon, glazed pork, and grenadine syrup. It's incredibly sweet and rich, which I enjoy as a larger person. Lol Palate: Deliciously sweet. Red fruits, cherries, marmalade, and smooth sweet sherry. Not complicated, just purely delicious. Finish: Primarily sherried with a hint of ginger spice. Very easy to drink. Overall: I would buy a large quantity of this and could drink it forever. It's the sweetest, most approachable sherry-forward spirit I've ever had. It's a dessert in a bottle. Many might not agree with my rating, but I loved it. 92 out of 100. Cheers, friends!

I won't rate this as highly as my friend Jose Masú did, but it could easily be among the best Glenfiddichs, excluding the Ice Storm and the 18 year old.
Glad I had the chance to sample this. It was considerably sweeter than anticipated.
