Glengoyne, derived from the Gaelic ‘Glen Guin’ meaning “the glen of the wild geese,” was first licensed in 1833, though illicit distilling may have occurred earlier. Originally built by George Connell, ownership transferred to Lang Brothers LTD in 1876 and later to Ian MacLeod Distillers LTD. The Distiller’s Gold is exclusively available in travel retail.

I enjoyed this one. Very smooth, neat, and well-balanced flavor. The taste was quite intriguing, reminding me of classic Czech white yeast bread. It had sweetness, saltiness, yeast, and caraway. I was pleasantly surprised.
Remarkable. Initially, you don't perceive it as a great drink, you're thinking... meh, it's okay, and then with the second sip, you can definitely recognize its distinct character. I endorse it
Caramel, honey, orange zest, cereal husk, toffee, vanilla, toast, black pepper.
Smooth and sophisticated, but it lacks significant character.
Light on the palate, spicy yet very mellow.
