Full disclosure: I might be biased, so feel free to ignore this review. However, I tasted this whisky without knowing what it was, and I typically really enjoy Glengoynes. This was an underwhelming dram, and none of the scents or flavors worked well together. The nose is dominated by a cereal note, similar to oatmeal. There's also honey, nuttiness, and some fruitcake. The palate is peppery and long.
