One of the club pours tonight. Very rich with notes of raisins, cherries, oak, christmas cake, chocolate, toffee, gingerbread cookies, cinnamon, pepper, dates, and prunes.
The aroma is full of fruit and then offers whispers of vanilla. It has a smooth feel on the palate and a pleasant warmth at the end. Really enjoyable and fulfilling.
It's the Scotch equivalent of Stagg.
