Kaleigh Centeno 4.0

An elegant Scotch Whisky from Glencadam Distillery in Scotland's Highlands, matured for 18 years in ex-bourbon casks. It begins with fruitiness, showing notes of tropical fruits, wood spices, tobacco, creamy malt spice, and white pepper. A spicy and floral middle phase adds notes of malt, pineapple, citrus, orange blossom, and a hint of peat, leading to a long, tart, and dry conclusion with hints of nutmeg, white chocolate, and berries. Mauricio Oneal 2.5

Oh Glencadam, where have you been hiding for the last 18 years? Certainly not in casks of good quality. Sweet honey and vanilla on the nose, but the palate is lacking. The flavor is faint and quickly overwhelmed by the alcohol. This will have to be a 2.5. I expect more after 18 years wasted.

Casey Torres 4.5

Opened for one year. Offers apple and cinnamon, among other notes. In a semi-blind comparison with the 15-year-old, the 18-year-old was superior. A subtle and excellent dram.

Ida Bingham 4.3

Semi-blind. The words smooth, pure and strait where invented for this whisky. Don't forget to add water! (and not just a few drops)

Finley Scales 4.5

Honey scent Smooth and slightly sweet taste Smooth sensation on the tongue
