Dark toffee aroma, possibly some coffee. Initial sweetness hits, like maple syrup, quickly replaced by intense burn from the proof. Spice and wood flavors sustain it, actually working quite well together. It's dark and fiery, enjoyable, but a bit too potent. Diluting it could improve it.
