Virtually no spirit presence, which is expected given the extent of cask influence typical for this distillery's approach. Taste: Alcohol comes through forcefully, providing warmth upfront and a spicy profile. Stewed fruits and more sulfur are present. A classic sherry-forward Speyside. Finish: Extended. The 12 years contribute a well-rounded character. Absolutely exceptional.
