A sherry-forward whisky. Oaky. It misses the chocolate notes typically favored in sherried scotch for me, but it remains a potent and engaging drink. Likely not worth the current market price for my taste.
From the 2023 Advent Calendar, Day 3. Intriguing aroma, I was hopeful. The flavor is almost mushroom-like; I almost didn't finish it.
