Dried golden raisins and other sweet notes like almond paste, vanilla, and banana bread. The finish is a bit brief, but brings back milk chocolate, crème brûlée, and some raspberry and floral hints. Honey appears with half a spoonful of water, and it becomes more complex upon deeper analysis. Despite this complexity, it remains smooth and approachable if you prefer not to overthink it. Note: This whisky truly improved significantly about ten months after the bottle was opened.
