Despite being cask strength at 52.9%, it's incredibly smooth and mild, you hardly notice the alcohol. It's a shame this distillery's product mostly goes into blends like Haig and JW, because it's a very smooth drink. It starts with a fresh, spicy ginger flavor that's moderately sweet but mostly spicy. The finish brings citrus, more ginger and oak, lasting a long time and fading into pepper, ginger, and chili.
