I tasted this in 2011, so I'm recalling from a decade ago. I still use it as a benchmark for all bourbons I try now. The flavor is full and rich with a substantial mouthfeel. It's the best-tasting bourbon I can remember, but I was new to drinking bourbon then and couldn't handle the heat. I'd be interested to try it again now that I appreciate higher proof spirits.
