This 2012 bottle absolutely astonished me. A rare find that lives up to the hype! Caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and more – it's a classic bourbon flavor explosion. It has a heavy viscosity that coats the palate. Despite being over 140 proof, it's remarkably smooth. An incredible bourbon! My rating system: 1 - I'm giving this away 2 - Suitable for mixing, but not to drink on its own 3 - Enjoyable, but I'm open to trying other options 4 - Very good, I'll purchase it if available on the shelf or menu 5 - Exceptional, this is a bottle worth collecting

The smoothest spirit over 70% alcohol I've ever encountered. It has the familiar caramel and brown sugar profile of Stagg, along with a powerful, lingering warmth from the high proof. I'm very fond of this bourbon.
Quality has declined over time.
Tastes reminiscent of a barrel.
