The aroma presents vanilla, oak, leather, nuts, and a slight hint of chocolate and char. The initial taste delivers a full sensation of black pepper, oak, and char. The warmth was manageable and concluded with nutty, leathery, and charred notes. Adding ice reduces the intensity of the warmth but doesn't eliminate it, bringing nutty and earthy characteristics to the forefront. This is an excellent bourbon and I strongly endorse it.

Described as small batch bourbon whiskey, made locally with Texas corn and Hill Country rainwater. It was aged in oak from sustainable northern American forests and was produced, bottled, and barreled in Texas.
I enjoyed the sweetness with the subtle spicy notes in this. The nose was light. It has better balance than the Balmorhea and less burn.
Smooth with pleasant flavor and a slight kick.
