AROMA Oak, leather, dried dark fruit, caramel, baking spice, citrus peels, hint of cocoa. A very traditional bourbon scent. Nothing about this suggests it comes from malted barley or 100% corn. PALATE Oak, leather, baking spice, fresh grassy corn, clove, cocoa, and a touch of dried apples. The level of spice here is remarkable and provides a sweet and earthy balance. FINISH Medium length -> Sweet, spicy, and grassy with a bit of oak and leather.

Sampling this pour tonight after it's been open for a while. The aroma offers a caramel scent with a subtle sweetness underneath. The taste is sweet initially, finishing with a hint of sweet corn on the back of the palate, along with a touch of spice. It's a good drink, but I feel it's a bit too expensive.
