Notes of flowers, spice, chamomile, aromatic wood, mint, orange zest, gin, basil, and numerous other botanicals I can't quite pinpoint, with a touch of umami. The taste is bitter, minty, spicy, and woody with cinnamon. This is my first time trying a fernet, so I lack a frame of reference, but I find it quite intricate and intriguing. It has a somewhat viscous texture on the palate.
