Ensign Red Apple

A light, flavored Canadian whisky with an aromatic beginning featuring notes of grain, wood, tree fruits, herbs & spices; a rich middle adds notes of caramelized apples; culminating in a medium-length sweet finish with a hint of butterscotch. May / September 2017 / 2022.

A slight hint of apple (very sweet), quickly followed mostly by an alcohol burn

Excessively sweet.
