Ellington reserve salted Carmel

A well-balanced, flavored blended Canadian rye whisky, crafted from a mix of 8-year-old column and small batch pot distilled spirits using 100% Canadian heirloom rye and caramel flavoring. It was aged in second-fill American oak casks, breathing the air of the Canadian Rockies. It begins aromatically with notes of caramel and salt; its rich and slightly creamy character adds notes of butterscotch; culminating in a delicate and velvety finish with hints of sea salt. The aroma has a distinct salted caramel profile. The taste is full caramel with minimal salt, which was appreciated as I dislike excessive salt. This could work well as a component in cocktails.

Lasting caramel masks the harshness and the salt is a nice addition

Incredibly easy to drink.
