Nose: As a barrel proof, you certainly get some ethanol. Abundant vanilla, brown sugar, and caramel. The nose is exceptional. Palate: Ohhhh, so good. Vanilla cake frosting, toasted crème brûlée, tobacco. This is fantastic. Finish: It's an Elijah Craig barrel proof, so this finish lasts indefinitely. Overall: The best bang for your buck in bourbon, in my opinion. 80 bucks for a bourbon that rarely disappoints. Now, make it a Master Distiller's pick and a single barrel, and it reaches another level.
