Final dram. Nose: fig chutney, Brie cheese, oatcake, grapes, cinnamon, smooth—no harsh alcohol burn. Body: Full-bodied, spirited, slightly tannic, spicy. Palate: Intense fruit, a little zesty, orange peel, cherry, pear, fig, date, some cocoa/dark chocolate. Finish: Long, bold, tingly, woody. I'm sad to finish this bottle! It has aged remarkably well over nearly two years.
