Deanston’s Decennary, created to honor their 50th anniversary, combines four single malts: 1977 refill whisky, 1982 American oak, 1996 port pipe, and 2006 Pedro Ximenez. This whisky is filtered without chilling and finished in oak casks. My impressions: Nose: apples, cherries, and honey Taste: sherry, citrus, nuts, and chocolate Finish: a light peat aroma dissipates, leaving a honeyed sweetness that endures. The bottle's description also suggests hints of toffee in the aroma and fragrant spices in the flavor. We acquired this bottle at the distillery. It's an excellent offering, the finest Deanston expression I've experienced yet.

Angela Hummel 3.8

The aroma was faint, but the flavor is robust and malty, featuring notes of dark chocolate. The conclusion is the highlight, offering extended tastes of oak spice, dark chocolate, black tea, and dark honey. It surpasses the other three spirits from this distillery I've sampled.
