Deanston 2008 11 Year Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

I actually had a prior version of this from 2006, but it was incredible on the nose, with abundant berry and woody scents. A very warm mouthfeel, it almost vanishes on the tongue. Delicious and smooth. Flavors of raisins, vanilla, caramel, wood, and spices.

Peppery spice and vanilla notes. Remarkably mellow given the robust alcohol content; it doesn't require much dilution.
