Darkness! is a collection of whiskies selected by Maverick Drinks, a UK distributor for craft spirits from the US and Europe. These whiskies mature in custom 50L barrels made with staves from former 500L sherry butts, increasing the spirit's interaction with the wood. This particular 12 Year Bruichladdich finished in a former Pedro Ximénez sherry barrel, a sweet sherry style, for over three months before being bottled at 111.2 proof.
