Sipping a glass with three ice cubes Smell - it's all sugary salted caramel goodness. So sweet it's almost painful. Flavor - similar to the smell. An overwhelming salted caramel sweetness. The ice provided a slight reduction in sweetness, but it's still excessively sweet for my preference. Overall - this is a limited edition release, so it has a special appeal, but be ready for intense sweetness. I won't be consuming this straight or on ice ever again. I'll find good mixers to experiment with. Credit for a distinctive flavor.

This is indeed a salted caramel flavored spirit, though not precisely. It brings notes of poundcake and light oak, but it really drinks more like a liqueur. Take it for what it is. It's SWEET, and since I enjoy sweetness, I find it enjoyable as an occasional treat. Don't seek complexity or deep contemplation here; this is an alcoholic candy bar.
