I've had the chance to try a few different things this holiday season, and Crown Royal Apple is one of the more polarizing spirits in the collection. Some people, like my dad, really didn't care for it. On the other hand, some of us enjoyed it, though it's quite easy to overindulge in this one. Initially, I found it quite pleasant served neat, with the apple flavor harmonizing well with the whiskey, and adding ice only improved it. I haven't mixed it myself, but I've heard from friends that it blends very well and significantly tones down the sweetness. While I don't prefer it as much as Birddog Peach, it's a decent flavored whiskey, and by the end of a couple of drinks, the sweetness became a bit much for me. If you know someone who enjoys apple-flavored items, they'll probably like this. Enjoy.

I've always liked this for its uniqueness. I enjoy drinking this in a variety of ways: neat, with ice, or mixed with Sprite. An excellent choice for spring and summer. It's low proof and very sweet. I find it quite pleasing. It's not complicated, just a smooth, sweet apple whiskey. It's been very easy to locate, and I hope it remains available. I found it priced between $20 and $30 in my area.

On the nose and palate, I detect... hmm, it's hard to pinpoint the fruit. Yes, it's like a green Jolly Rancher. That's all. Then on the palate, it's like three sugar cubes mashed together. This is a very intricate whiskey. How are the scores so high? Haha. P.S. Tried it neat in a hotel room in New Orleans from a miniature bottle, given as a joke to my brother-in-law, but I also had to provide a rating.

The flavor seems a bit artificial, but overall, it's among the best green apple flavored whiskeys available, with a suitable price for the experience. It's good neat, but I'd suggest mixing it with complementary flavors to enhance the citrus notes.

Incredibly layered. The aroma is solely green apple Jolly Rancher. The flavor is slightly more varied, tasting of sugar, alcohol, and green apple Jolly Rancher. 🤣 Honestly, this is awful. Sickly sweet and syrupy. Take your time with it.

An apple that is quite sweet and crisp. The apple isn't just on the front of your tongue, it continues to the back, giving a complete apple flavor. More apple character than Jack Daniel's Apple.
