Clynelish 1993 22 Year Rare Select (Montgomerie's)

This special scotch has a pale straw yellow color and thin, semi-watery legs. The nose is delightful, generally dry and fruity, with notes of lemon zest, orchard fruit, dark juicy plum, fresh grass, cherry, peach, and a sweet aroma reminiscent of beer or whiskey fermentation. The palate reveals notes of salted caramel, green apple, oak tannins, tart green grapes, banana bread, and sour candy. The finish is moderately long, tannic, and fruity. Cheers!
