The Charles Noble Rum Company bottles this unaged rum, made at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, in New York. A "Charlie Noble" refers to a ship's smokestack, named after Captain Charles Noble. He noticed his galley's smokestack was made of copper and told his crew to polish it, leading them to call it "Charlie Noble."
