A $75 special release, barrel 85. Tastes of salted caramel, rich toasted oak, subtle notes of smoky vanilla, damp hay, pecan and walnut, with a faint tamarind essence. The finish emerges with more sweet oakiness and spice, lasting a moderate to full duration. A fantastic bourbon, and another reason this distillery is among my favorite Texas whiskeys!
