Excellent rum! The sugarcane's vegetal and varietal character is still apparent, accompanied by vanilla and a pleasant sweetness from the cask notes (toffee, wood, etc.). The balance is perfect and very clean. The alcohol is not harsh. One of the finest rums I've ever sampled.
