Mid-palate: Some subtle fruit notes, with the cask strength of traditional Caol Ila apparent, offering a more medicinal character. Finish: Brief and smooth, leaving a lingering smoky flavor reminiscent of a smoky BBQ bite. It's less medicinal than Ardbeg Oogy.
