Initially tastes average, especially when sampled alongside four other Caol Ila varieties. It shares a rough texture with Uigedail but lacks the complex flavor profile of that Ardbeg. It's somewhat comparable to Kilchoman Sanaig but with a cask strength impact, though the flavor is less pronounced than that expression. After trying this "show" bottling, I won't be seeking out the independent releases from The Whisky Exchange.
