Caol Ila's edition is matured in casks that contained Moscatel sherry, a sweet fortified dessert wine. Distilled in 2003, this bottling occurred in 2015 at 86 proof.

Oh Caol Ila... after a series of wild pours, occasionally you simply require a standard dram to recall the essence of scotch. Not elaborate or unusual, just straightforward smoky scotch, a touch sweeter than the typical 12-year.
