This bottling was created for the 2018 Fèis Ìle (Islay Fest), celebrated each spring. The whisky underwent maturation for at least 10 years in a combination of refill American oak hogsheads and rejuvenated European oak butts. It was released on the morning of May 28th, 2018, coinciding with Caol Ila Open Day at the distillery. Production was limited to 2496 bottles.

Mild peat and wood notes with a deep aroma. It's complex and rich, with a strong fiery character. The peat and wood flavors are layered over an incredibly rich, oily body. The finish is exceptionally long, with molasses and caramel sweetness. Truly magnificent.
