The nose is full and luxurious, with tobacco and hazelnuts. Creamy vanilla custard. The arrival is sweet fruit and brown sugar – oranges, plums, and green apples. Like strawberry sauce on soft-serve ice cream. There's a nice earthiness that remains in the finish, possibly from good dunnage warehouse storage. This is an excellent bottle from a friend. Very drinkable without water even with the high ABV. Highly recommended.
