The nose is strongly sherry and raisin, with hints of peat and straw. Raisin flavors carry through intensely on the palate, along with honey, peat, and dried cherries. The finish is long and amazing with diminishing notes of pepper, straw, peat, honey, and raisins. The palo cortado finish makes a remarkable difference.
