About this bottle
This bourbon is one of two from Buffalo Trace's Experimental Collection. Utilizing the identical mash bill (Buffalo Trace mash recipe #1), the spirit was distilled on October 26, 2009, and barreled the following day. The barrels were constructed with staves that had been seasoned for 36 months, a significant increase from the usual six months. Aged for 9 years, it is offered alongside the 48-month version for comparative tasting, and these 375ml bottles became available in late February 2019.
