About this bottle

This expression, Bruichladdich Sherry Classic, is a variation of the Classic Laddie. While the Classic Laddie is mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks, the Sherry Classic is finished in a blend of ex-fino, ex-palo cortado, and ex-manzanilla Sherry casks. These casks were acquired from Fernando de Castilla, a bodega in Jerez, Spain. Consistent with all Bruichladdich malts, the Sherry Classic is neither chill-filtered nor does it contain any added coloring. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

Benita Gaffney 4.0

Light sherry notes with a hint of vanilla. Smooth. Maybe too smooth? But it hit the right notes for me. Recommended.

Brook Vera 4.3

Peat, alcohol hidden despite the significant kick.

Patti Wray 5.0

Best enjoyed with a close companion.

Remi Forsythe 3.0
