About this bottle
The Micro Provenance Series (#LaddieMP4) features experimental casks intended to investigate the impacts of cask maturation and warehouse selection. This unpeated spirit from Bruichladdich's large stills was placed into a sherry cask by Head Distiller Adam Hannett in 2006. It matured for ten years on the Scottish Mainland. Cask 16-062 is available as part of a three-bottle set of 200ml samples, which also includes an ex-syrah cask (#361) and an ex-bourbon cask (#1062). Bottled at 58% ABV, just below cask strength, this malt, like all Bruichladdich whiskies, is non-chill filtered and contains no added coloring.
