Cherry Alfaro 5.0

The color is a bright golden amber. The legs are noticeably thick and viscous, forming a nice border in the glass. The nose is remarkably distinctive for a bourbon, very mellow and smooth with complex sweetness. It begins with vanilla and cherry, then reveals fruity pears and bread. The palate is exceptionally smooth, featuring sweet vanilla mingled with smoky oak. The nose has evolved to a caramel orange, and the palate is fruitier, showcasing the bourbon's complexity. A superb whiskey full of delightful surprises makes for an enjoyable drink with every taste.

Major Bauman 2.0

Regrettably, my bottle wasn't good. All I detect are scents and flavors of rubber and tennis balls. It became more palatable after being uncorked and allowed to breathe for about three weeks, and is now acceptable with an ice cube. I definitely won't be buying this again.

Dwight Anthony 4.5

Amazing! Anise and vanilla are present with a touch of oak. Truly intricate and captivating. It doesn't possess the typical flavor profile of a bourbon single barrel, but that's its strength! Serve this as a second dram after a conventional single barrel bourbon!

Jack Stanford 4.0

A good single barrel offering, with no harshness and a delicate finish. It would be preferable if it were left at cask strength. We have the option to add water ourselves.

Rene Grooms 5.0

White pepper notes. Extremely smooth. Among my top picks ever. I definitely would have bought a bottle, but not for $125.

Mary Hildebrand 3.5

Acceptable, but the finish is lacking. Not worth the cost.
