Wow, this was my top pick from Adelphi, surpassing the 25-year Mortlach and Bowmores. It was at the end of the second day at Dramfest, after trying 40 drams, so who knows how it would hold up sober, but it certainly made an impact. Adelphi is recognized for its PX sherry finished whiskies, and this one, originating from Tomatin and aged in a first-fill ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry butt, was fantastic!
