An intense 27-year-old Braes o' Glenlivet from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Batch 1 shows a graphic-novel illustration of the Master of Malt leaders: Ben, Tom, and Justin, driving to visit Scotland's distilleries with a car full of Evian (Justin's essential water). The label was inspired by Braes o' Glenlivet being the whisky that introduced the trio to the world of spirits. This is batch 1, with 210 bottles released. It starts aromatically with notes of Brandy butter, vanilla, hints of tropical fruit, manuka honey & soft spices. Its rich and spicy middle adds notes of cinnamon, orange blossom honey, a touch of Parma violets, lemon curd, tarte tatin & creamy vanilla custard; leading to a long, rich end with notes of salted butter & allspice.
