A robust Brandy, nearly a Cognac, created by Master Blender Richard Braastad. It's a blend of Cabernet Franc grapes and well-aged Cognac, then aged for an additional 18 months in oak before bottling at 17% ABV. It begins aromatically with hints of dried fruits, wood, flowers, nuts, herbs, and spices. Its rich body introduces notes of citrus and raisin, leading to a balanced, medium-length finish with flavors of toasted oak, honey, and dark chocolate. May 2022.
